Solar energy is fast becoming the most readily available form of sustainable energy for Americans. Sustainable Energy has two key components: renewable energy and energy efficiency. Sustainable energy (defined by WikipediA) is the provision of energy such that it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. solar home energy hopes everyone will exchange high energy using, appliances lighting etc. for more energy efficient ones, or convert to solar energy.

Electric cars appear to be the wave of the future. The Ford Focus is the first of four cars Ford plans to deliver within the next three years. The Ford Focus will never need a drop of gas, reports Ford. It charges in 2 to 3 hours with the available 240-volt charging station or just plug it into a 120-volt household outlet in your garage. The car is advertised as eco-friendly with zero carbon dioxide emission. This is indeed progress and a great improvement over gas-powered cars.
